Hacker

A Symbolic Code in this context. Case is obviously the hacker in this passage (with the help of the Kuang program). However, it seems that the process of hacking the AI causes the program to hack him, as evidenced by the geometric imagery of how his body seems to reform in the process of the run. There's also a less figurative moment where Case is "hacked," when the boy-representation of Neuromancer draws Case back into the beach construct and talks to him.
